As a trading education book, it's limited — you won't learn any strategies here. But understanding market microstructure and how modern exchanges actually work is valuable background knowledge. The narrative occasionally oversimplifies complex issues, and the "good guys vs bad guys" framing obscures the nuanced reality of HFT. Excellent read, modest trading education value.
