FXCM produces free forex and CFD trading guides covering basic strategies, risk management, and market analysis. The content is accurate and reasonably well-written. However, everything is designed to funnel readers toward opening an FXCM trading account — the educational value takes a back seat to customer acquisition. Strategies are presented with just enough detail to be intriguing but not enough to be independently useful. The risk management content is responsible but generic. Significantly inferior to BabyPips for forex education and to broker-neutral resources for general trading education. Acceptable as supplementary reading, not as a primary learning source.
