Trade Your Way to Financial Freedom
Buy (No Affiliate Link) →Tharp's book is a frustrating mix of genuinely excellent material and unnecessary padding. The sections on position sizing, expectancy, and system development are among the best written on these topics — the R-multiple framework for measuring risk is brilliant and widely adopted. However, the book is bloated at 460 pages, includes too much self-promotional content for Tharp's workshops, and the NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) material is pseudoscientific and dates the book badly. Read chapters 6-14 on system design and position sizing; skip the rest.
